Eres Mejor Recruitment is a small recruitment agency committed to recruiting qualified enthusiastic and energetic social workers from Europe. We are based in Ontinyent in the province of Valencia, Spain, and are currently concentrating our efforts on recruiting Spanish and Portuguese social workers.
We are a small but committed and dynamic team, providing local authorities and other social care providers across the UK with qualified and/or experienced care staff who are keen to take up the challenge of working in Britain.
As former social workers we have had the experience of working both as practitioners and as managers in a number of different agencies both statutory and voluntary and remain committed to a high standard of professionalism.

Who are we?
Steve Grout
Steve qualified as a social worker in 1988.
Practice experience: Child Protection, Vulnerable Adults, Children and Disabilities, Looked After Children, Court Work, Mental Health and the Elderly.
Management Experience: Child Protection, Court Work, Looked After Work, Children with Disabilities and Fostering. Also supervision of staff, performance and development and strategic planning.
Training Experience: Child Protection, Looked After Children, Court Work, Fostering Recruitment, Child Protection and Disabled Children.
Shirley Grout
Shirley qualified as a social worker in 1992.
Practice experience: Child Protection, Adolescents Therapeutic work and Youth Justice, Looked After Children, Court Work
Senior Practitioner/Management Experience: Staff support and supervision, service development, team consultancy.

Zena Hildick
Zena qualified as a recruitment consultant in 2003.
She worked for 4 years in a recruitment agency in the UK recruiting staff for Industrial, Commercial and Technical positions, during which time she studied recruitment law and procedures.
Zena joined Eres Mejor in 2006 following her move to Spain.
